The kids and I finally made it to Ft. Custer to ride our bikes. Somebody forgot to tell Jenee that the trail would not be paved. We went with Nike’s family; Jamie, Trevor and Alex. Alex and Jenee toughed it out. Of course Alex is only 6 years old. Cole had a blast. So did I. We end up buying a season pass so we can go out and bike some more this fall. Who knows maybe we will have a couple of warmer days and we can hit the beach too.
The trail we did was for novices. It was eight miles long. This is a lot different than riding on the road. One very nice thing is not having to worry about cars. But we had to watch out for tree roots, rocks, and sand.
Cole and I think Uncle Kevin should go out with us some time. He would like it.
