Seeing Gold

It is here. Finally. Cole received his Gold Cup after four years of practice. It was tainted for a couple of days due to the fact that Cole was not pleased with his performance at the recital where he received the trophy but he is over that and very happy to finally have his award. We are pretty darn proud of him.

Sarah has been a real blessing to the kids as a piano teacher. Today is a big day as the go for yet another adjudication. They will each play two solos, Jenee will play a duet with her friend Jillian, and then Jenee and Cole will play two duets. There will be no gold cup for these performances just great feedback.

This Sunday Jenee, Cole and Danielle will be playing in their recital. Email or call us for information.

You will notice the change in our blog title. I have felt funny about using our name on our blog. Why In the Mitten? Do you really have to ask?! Nobody offered any other name and so it is what it is.
