It's in the Mail

The other day I retrieved the mail as usual. Amongst the bills, fliers for lawn service and college pamphlets was a letter from a dermatologist's office. Now this could not be for Alan as he was asked to never come back to their office. They actually sent a certified letter telling him that he was no longer a patient there. So why would they send us anything? Well they wanted to tell us this:




Wow! Money? Really? And a check!




Given the fact that Cole was FOUR years old when he last went to the dermatologist, I am confident that he did not foot the bill for this visit. We did not expect him to pay until he was 10. However, being the nice parents we are and since the check is made out to him, we are letting him keep the $13.77. Besides, we wouldn't want to tick off the the office and have them chase Alan down. Again.
