A good kid

Bec:
Last week at mass Jenée was serving and Alan went to get some tissue before sitting down. So it was just me and Cole in the pew. We knelt for prayer before mass. Cole seemed to be waiting for me. I had already finished but decided to see if Cole was just going to stay down on his knees until I got up. He didn't. He got up before me. I told him that I noticed he spent a long time down there. He said he was praying "why?" Then I told him what I had thought. He seemed surprised. I was curious about what he was praying so hard for. It turns out he was praying for the 5 boys who were in the car accident. Wow. I was very wrong but very proud.

Speaking of the boys in the accident; Alan and I were walking and saw Aarons father. Aaron came out of his coma after a week (we knew this via Teri.) He made a comment about knowing what a great neighborhood we had before but after his sons accident he really knows. We did not want to pry or ask him a lot of questions he has been asked so I just said that we are still praying for them. His eyes filled. And well you know Alan. His filled too. Okay so did mine. Dan said "I have been telling people not to stop praying yet. We have a long way to go." Aaron has been transfered to G.R. for rehab. He is eating and getting around. He is doing amazingly well. Guess Cole's extra time on his knee's was time well spent.
