We have been busy and I have been lazy about writing.
Our family has this thing about apple picking. Norm and Shirley have some trees that produce an early variety. Usually we get a bag in September and make amazing apple sauce. But the picking we do down here one of the true signals that Fall has arrived. This year there were hundreds of apples that had fallen from the trees, carpeting the base of each tree like Christmas tree skirt. We found an opening in the orchard rows that begged for a group picture. We began with this one:
Of course, each family had a camera or two so the photo shoot began. We found Riley and Seth and added them to the picture. Then we had Norm and Shirley join the grandchildren. I will not post all of those here, but there is something that I would like to focus in on... or rather someONE. Group shots can be a challenge. Eyes close, heads turn, and then there is Riley. He is a good looking kid. He is a funny kid. He is just like his dad.
Nice start
Riley, Danielle, Jenee, Hillary, Cole, Maria, Seth
Then we keep trying for more pictures and I zoom in just a little to find this:

and this:

But wait there's more...(and we can see Jenee does not help the photo shoot. Danielle looks fabulous every single time!)

We do know it is not all his fault. He comes by it honestly.
